December 7, 2022
According to Newsweek’s annual list, Albemarle Corporation was named in the top 500 Most Responsible Companies in America for 2022. The company ranks in the 171st spot and is in the top 20 of its industry. Last year, Albemarle ranked in the 300’s. Moving up the ranks shows we continue to make appropriate changes in our environment, social and corporate governance, and advance our sustainability strategies.
Newsweek partnered with global research and data firm Statista to form their annual list of America’s Most Responsible Companies. The ranking focuses on publicly available key performance indicators derived from corporate responsibility that considers the three areas of environment, social and corporate governance. It also incorporates Sustainability and Corporate Citizenship Reports and an independent survey. Out of 2,000 public companies surveyed, Newsweek and Statista chose the top 500.
